「Introduction」

The accelerated global energy transition is propelling solid-state batteries, the core technology for next-generation energy storage, into a critical phase of industrialization breakthrough. However, a subtle yet crucial "invisible environmental battle" is unfolding within production facilities, where the demanding manufacturing process requirements—particularly the stringent control over temperature, humidity, and cleanliness in the production environment—pose a significant bottleneck to capacity expansion and quality enhancement.

Against this backdrop, Dryer, leveraging its years of expertise in industrial air treatment technology, has joined hands with the world's top solid-state battery manufacturers to address the environmental control challenges in solid-state battery production. It has developed and launched a brand-new industrial design solution for drying and air treatment, covering high-temperature and high-humidity workshops in Southeast Asia, precision manufacturing bases in Europe, cutting-edge R&D centers in the United States, and mass production factories in South Korea.

Dryer's tailor-made "humidity control   sulfur removal   energy conservation" integrated drying system is helping enterprises break through the dual obstacles of "uncontrolled humidity - production failure" and "high energy consumption - cost out of control", transforming the mass production of solid-state batteries from "ideal in the laboratory" to "reality on a global scale". It has been successfully applied in multiple countries and regions such as Europe, the United States, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hungary, providing reliable guarantees for enterprises to achieve precise temperature and humidity control, stable environment, and energy efficiency improvement. Additionally, in collaboration with top universities in Japan and South Korea, a specialized research and development team has been formed to focus on the core technical bottlenecks of the production environment for solid-state batteries.

「Environmental challenges in solid-state battery production」

Low dew point:  The production of solid-state batteries is highly sensitive to moisture. The electrolyte and electrode materials can maintain chemical stability only in an extremely low dew point environment. Generally, the environmental dew point is required to be below -55℃ to -60℃ or lower. At the same time, there are extremely high requirements for temperature fluctuations and particle cleanliness levels.

Traditional air treatment solutions often struggle to simultaneously meet such stringent and stable conditions, resulting in: decreased battery consistency, difficulty in improving product yield, high production energy consumption, and insufficient equipment operational stability... ...

• Low dew point dehumidification

The experimental-developed adsorption and condensation combined drying system significantly reduces the operating energy consumption of the equipment below -60℃ Tdp. It can provide continuous and stable ultra-low dew-point air supply, meeting the extreme drying requirements for key processes such as electrode preparation, electrolyte layer stacking, and packaging of solid-state batteries.

• High-precision environmental control

Integrating a separate temperature and humidity control and real-time monitoring and feedback system ensures that the environmental parameters within the production space fluctuate minimally, providing a reliable environmental foundation for process consistency.

「Peroration」

While the industry is still discussing "when will all-solid-state batteries be mass-produced", Dryer has already provided the answer through his actions: Every step of industrialization requires "basic support" - and a stable production environment is precisely the key prerequisite for breaking through technological barriers and reducing costs.

For the past 25 years, Dryer has served over 200 leading manufacturing enterprises worldwide (covering fields such as lithium batteries, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors). Dryer has always firmly believed: "A good air treatment solution is not just the accumulation of technologies, but rather a precise understanding of industry pain points." In the future, Dryer will continue to leverage its advantages of "global layout   local services" to support more manufacturers in crossing the mass production threshold.
